1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Eggnix (including our websites and any future updates), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Eggnix on behalf of a business or farm, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Service
Eggnix is a free poultry farm management application that helps users record and analyze production, feed, mortality, expenses, and related farm operations. Features may vary by platform, region, or version. We may add, modify, or retire features at any time.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you may need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We may require one account per phone number (or similar identifier) to prevent abuse and maintain service integrity. You must not share your account in a way that violates these Terms or compromises security.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Eggnix only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ data, or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by introducing malware or excessive load.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where mandatory law allows.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Services to send spam or harmful content.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
Eggnix, the Eggnix name and logo, and all related branding, software, designs, text, graphics, and documentation are owned by Eggnix Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal or internal farm operations in line with these Terms. You receive no ownership rights in our intellectual property.
6. User Content & Data
You own your farm data. You retain ownership of the information you enter into Eggnix. To operate the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, store, display, and transmit your content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve Eggnix — including backups, analytics in aggregate or de-identified form where permitted, and support.
You represent that you have the rights to any data you submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, or that the app will meet your specific business outcomes. Eggnix is a tool to assist record-keeping and analysis; it is not financial, legal, veterinary, or investment advice. You remain responsible for your farming decisions and compliance with local regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eggnix Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) zero (0) if the Services were provided free of charge, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
9. Free Service
Eggnix is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable notice as required by law and any applicable app store rules. Your continued use after pricing changes may constitute acceptance, or you may discontinue use as described at that time.
10. Termination
You may stop using Eggnix and request account deletion at any time, subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the product. Upon termination, provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country, courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the app or email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
